Important Agricultural & Food Safety AI Disclaimer
KrishiMandi Freshness Detection is an assistive utility that generates visual quality estimates based on computer vision. It is provided for informational and guidance purposes only. It does not replace official statutory agricultural grading, laboratory testing, or certified food hygiene inspections. Always use sensory inspection (smell, tactile firmness, and sanitary inspection) before preparing or consuming fresh produce.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing, downloading, or using the KrishiMandi Freshness Detection mobile application or web utility (the “Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use or download this application.
2. License and Scope of Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, KrishiMandi grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and utilize the application on compatible iOS devices that you own or control.
You agree not to:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or derive source code from the Service.
- Circumvent or tamper with security or rate-limiting features.
- Use automated scrapers or bots to query our backend analysis APIs.
- Re-brand or resell the vision grading intelligence without explicit written permission.
3. Nature of AI Diagnostic Advice & Freshness Ratings
Our 4-Tier Freshness Grading (Grade A to Grade D), 8-Defect Analysis, and shelf-life recommendations are derived from statistical pattern recognition models applied to camera imagery. While we constantly improve model accuracy:
- Camera optics, lighting conditions, produce angles, and dirty lenses can affect grading accuracy.
- Internal biological defects (e.g., core rot, deep bacterial infections, chemical pesticide residues) cannot be detected from surface visual photography alone.
- KrishiMandi disclaims all liability for spoiled food consumed, spoiled consignments purchased, or commercial trading disputes arising from reliance on the software.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service, including its design, source code, visual interface, logos, graphics, icons, algorithms, and documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of KrishiMandi and is protected by applicable international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws. 5. User Accounts and Content
If you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree that any produce images submitted via the app do not violate third-party rights or contain unlawful content.

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FULLY SECURE AT ALL TIMES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KRISHIMANDI, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
